Despite the loss, Ugandan bowlers tried their best. Brian Masaba took two wickets, while Alpesh Ramjani, Cosmos, and Dinesh each took one wicket. However, their efforts needed to be moreufficient to restrict the West Indies to a lower total.

With this victory, West Indies secured their second win in Group C, putting them in the second area. Uganda is in the 0.33 area with one win and defeat from three matches.
