Similarly, a hike of 7.11 rupees was decided for the first slab of 1-100 units. Meanwhile, the next slab of 101-200 units would face the brunt of the maximum increase, i.e., 7.12 rupees.
Meanwhile, the tariff structure for lifeline consumers has remained unchanged, especially those considered most vulnerable regarding their financial situation. The government will maintain the per-unit tariff at Rs3.95 for those consuming up to 50 units per month and at Rs7.74 for those using 51-100 units, providing exceptional support to the lowest rungs of the economic ladder.
Apart from these measures, the government is steadfast in its commitment to long-term energy solutions.
