Umar Ayub and Ali Khan Blast Government Budget Plan

Opposition leaders Umar Ayub and Ali Muhammad Khan criticized the budget, calling it anti-public. They said the IMF claims it belongs to the opposition, and the government did not consult anyone.

Umar Ayub, addressing the media outside the Parliament House, has highlighted a significant issue of constitutional violation that occurred during the Budget session. He pointed out his past experience of presenting four statements and stressed the importance of adhering to Article 73, which mandates the reading of the finance minister’s documents, pink books, and the economic survey.

Ayub has further accused the government of presenting a fake financial plan, pointing out the absence of the statement volume and deficit. He has also accused Mohsin Naqvi of opening letters of credit worth 450 billion rupees for personal gain, a serious allegation that needs to be addressed.
