Tribute to Martyrs | Sacrifices for the Nation

 

The martyrs who gave their lives in the terrorist operation in Khyber District were buried with full military honors. The event was attended by a large number of people, which reflected the shared sorrow and respect for these heroes.

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, who stood among military officials and civil administration, paid tributes. The presence of top brass, along with commoners, showed unity among the people at large and the depth of this loss. This ceremony indicated how much they were valued through its deep solemnity, which represented the high cost they paid while performing their duties.

The operation carried out in the Khyber district forms part of Pakistan’s wider campaign against terrorism aimed at ensuring safety within troubled regions and around it. They laid down their lives not only for protection but also defense of sovereignty over here. Said an official during a briefing about this mission. The sacrifices made by these soldiers are grim reminders that those fighting terrorists are never safe.

While speaking at funeral prayers this evening, COAS General Bajwa said We shall continue our fight against these enemies till achievement peace with more passion than before. He lauded brave services rendered so far and termed ultimate sacrifice given as true spirit towards one’s homeland. Through such statements, he tried igniting backup fire spirits of armed forces members who were present there listening to him.
