Tehreek-e-Insaf has postponed the protest at D-Chowk today

PTI has decided to delay its planned protest march at D-Chowk, Islamabad, scheduled for October 15.

The PTI leadership made the decision because of the forthcoming SCO summit, which will take place on the same date. They stated that they have calmly deescalated the sit-in for the nation’s sake, especially with the summit approaching

Reason for going to Politics Committee meeting to Cancel the Protest

According to reliable reports, the resolution to commence the protest changed during one of PTI’s political committee meetings. In this proposal, most committee members proposed that the so-called protest be called off because it would likely interfere with the SCO summit. The committee deemed that because Pakistan must host the summit without hitches, stable tea at the summit should not take place because of the shame it would cause the nation.

National Interest Behind the Decision protest at D-Chowk

Some quarters have interpreted the decision to end the strike as ensuring national security.  With guests of honour from respective member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization scheduled to attend the summit, leaders of PTI thought it unwise to stage a protest of such magnitude in the capital as it would most likely interfere with the meeting’s activities   In other words, PTI has shown that it is willing to set internal political crises aside for some time in exchange for prioritizprioritizingtry’s foreign relations.

PTI S Original Protest Plan And Conditions protest at D-Chowk

PTI had announced plans to hold a major protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad on October 15, coinciding with the SCO summit.  The protest was part of a wide-ranging revenge strategy, which has become a norm in this country, waged by the opposition party against the ruling order, which, for some time now, PTI has been raving about on governance issues and abuse of power.  The aim behind the planned protest was two-fold: building pressure on the regime and highlighting IPT’s discontent.

Imran Khan Needs Imran Khan To Meeta protest at D-Chowk

That is why the PTI party leadership demanded the suspension of protests on one critical condition: they insisted that their imprisoned leader, Imran Khan, be allowed a meeting. If the government grants this, the party will consider postponing its protest at D-chowk.

This demand highlights the importance of Imran Khan’s status and leadership, as his incarceration remains one of the party’s grievances.

I agree with PTI’s Conditions protest at D-Chowk

Therefore, while the government decided to call off the protest, it accepted the condition of allowing a CT scan to assess the medical condition of PTI’s president, ImranMr n.

Mr. Khan intended his gesture of kindness to control the situation and prevent civilians from flooding the streets during the SCO summit in the capital city.

This version emphasizes the actions directly, assigning responsibility more clearly.

Medical Examination Of Imran Khan

The government has provisions for detailed doctors from PIMS Hospital to carry out a medical examination of Imran Khan, who is currently on keprisoner’soners’ remand at Adiala  Jail—the exam efforts complete medical check-ups to determine the PTI leader’s health condition.  Moreover, the government also allowed the personal doctor of Imran Khan to access the prison and carry out an extra examination on the patient, in addition to the official medical personnel. —This concession fulfils the demand, helps diffuse demand, and helps protest.
