This fascinated the visiting Pakistani delegation since it is a well-known palace renowned for its architectural elegance and historical importance.
During the tour, PM Shehbaz admired the beautiful craftwork embodied in Qasr-e-Nooroz. He pinpointed how things were carefully done there, showcasing a blend of modern aesthetics with traditional Tajik architecture features. This underscored just how closely linked Pakistan is to its neighbor.
President Rahmon also entertained Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and accompanied the Pakistani delegation with an elaborate dinner as a sign of goodwill between them.
They hosted the dinner in Qasr-e-Nowruz’s grand halls, serving mixed Tajik cuisines with cultural dances showcasing a rich tapestry.
The visit to Qasr-e-Nooroz allowed bilateral discussions between Pakistan’s leader, Shabaz Sharif, and Tajikistan’s President Rahmon. Prime Minister Shehbaz discussed ways of enhancing ties, such as strengthening diplomatic relations, improving economic cooperation, and people sharing their cultures within the two states through talks shared with President Rahmon. They both renewed their commitment to deepening the friendship bonds between Pakistan and Tajikistan.
Furthermore, aside from fostering diplomacy, PM Shehbaz Sharif’s visit emphasized the strategic role played by cultural diplomacy in strengthening international ties.
