KP Cabinet Forms Judicial Commission

 

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. The KP cupboard has accepted the formation of a judicial commission to analyze the activities of May 9. The cabinet also approved several significant decisions.

Key Decisions KP 

Judicial Commission: A judicial commission will be established to investigate the incidents of May 9. The summary presented to the cabinet included issues related to the events of May 9, arrests, and harassment of PTI workers.
Caretaker Government: The summary also addressed the caretaker government’s extension beyond 90 days. The removal of PTI’s bat symbol, and issues concerning Forms 45 and 47.

Police Strengthening and New Positions KP 

New Police Positions: The cabinet approved the creation of 565 new positions for the police in the sub-division of Kulachi in Dera Ismail Khan. The new positions include:

  • 5 Sub-Inspectors
  • 10 Assistant Sub-Inspectors
  • 50 Head Constables
  • 500 Constables
    Purpose: The creation of these new positions aims to strengthen the police force and improve law and order.

Traffic Warden System

Expansion: The cabinet approved the introduction of the Traffic Warden System in other divisional headquarters similar to Peshawar, Swat, and Abbottabad.
New Posts: A total of 1,179 posts will be created for the Traffic Warden System, including:

  • Superintendent of Police
  • Traffic Officer
  • Senior Warden
  • Warden
  • Head Constable
  • Junior Patrolling Officer

Additional Approvals

Cadet Colleges: The cabinet sanctioned an additional fund of 319.627 million rupees for Cadet College Razmak, Cadet College Spinkai, and Cadet College Wana.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Houses and Royal Guesthouse: The cabinet approved a 100% increase in the rents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Houses in Islamabad and Abbottabad, as well as the Royal Guesthouse in Peshawar.
The approval granted brought the 53-kilometer Board Yakh Tangi, Pooran, Martung Road, and the 18-kilometer Kalam, Atroor, Gabral Road under provincial control.

These decisions reflect the government’s efforts to address the region’s security, administrative, and infrastructural issues.
