He said that if it had not been for the Prime Minister’s hard work to stabilize things, then this would have been impossible. Also, now he is hopeful about how things are going.

Tarar highlighted the detrimental effects of international isolation and irreversible damages inflicted during the previous regime, where diplomatic ties with friendly nations deteriorated. Citing reports from institutions like the World Bank and Bloomberg, Tarar underscored positive indicators such as reaching the lowest inflation level in 29 months. Attributing the decrease in inflation to the government’s serious measures, Tarar mentioned achieving a 15% increase in tax collection compared to the target set for May. Furthermore, he highlighted the recent agreement with the IMF, indicating a swift response to economic challenges.

Tarar emphasized the significance of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to China, stating that it holds immense importance for bilateral relations.
