Challenging Judges’ Conduct – Bold Move!

 

In a bold statement in the Senate, Senator Faisal Vawda has sparked controversy by challenging Justice Athar Minallah’s conduct, asserting his right to discuss judges’ conduct, and daring authorities to hang him if they deem it a crime.

Defiance in Parliament Challenging 

Vawda asserted his stance, declaring his readiness to face the consequences of every word uttered in his press conference. He emphasized his commitment to bringing the entire parliament and nation on one page, emphasizing unity in upholding the supremacy of law and constitution.

Expressing his skepticism towards the judiciary, Vawda cited instances where justice seemed elusive, particularly highlighting the discrepancies in handling cases like that of Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and the slow pace of the trial in the Noor Mukadam case.

He criticized the judiciary for its alleged bias, pointing out instances where powerful individuals received lenient treatment while ordinary citizens faced harsh penalties. He referenced the swift retraction of Bhutto’s death sentence, contrasting it with the lack of consequences for judges’ errors.

Facing accusations of contempt, Vawda stood firm, challenging the judiciary’s integrity and announcing his intent to pursue the matter in the Supreme Court. He proclaimed his readiness to confront Chief Justice Minallah, portraying him as an honest judge. And declared his willingness to face any consequences in pursuing justice.

Amidst the political storm, Vawda also criticized the trend of women selling their dignity for justice, highlighting the plight of women seeking justice and the sacrifices they often make. He accused Justice Athar Minallah of challenging his integrity. And vowed to take the matter to the Supreme Court to defend his honor and uphold the principles of justice.
