Severe Flooding in Balochistan: Damage & Rescue Updates

 

Recurrent rainfall in several parts of Balochistan has made life difficult and damaging. The recurring flood conditions have complicated the rescue operations, with two teams working 24 hours a day to provide emergency assistance on the ground.

Persistent rains have also had a ‘human cost’. Recent occurrences have increased the death rate even higher, and no measures taken have seemed to help mitigate the situation.

In Bhimber, Azad Kashmir, a rate incident occurred wh, in which seven people sustained injuries when the roof of a house caved in due to excessive rainfall. Such emphasis supports the idea that the weather conditions experienced within the region cumulatively adversely affect everyone.
