Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ratified a plan to appreciate students who obtain first positions in their exams. Student Merit Scholarships
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has endorsed the Student Merit Scholarship scheme to facilitate educational success further. This scheme will cover the tuition fees of 25000 students. The Punjab Government is allocating a budget of more than Rs100 billion over four years to cover all educational expenses for these deserving children. This allocation ensures that they and their families do not face any financial burdens that might distract them from entirely focusing on their studies. This step aims to relieve students from economic pressures, which often hamper higher learning while hoping for brighter prospects for their families.
Transportation Program For Girl Students
For this purpose, a new transportation program was established to make it easier for girls and women to get an education. Especially those living in remote areas of the province. The program will involve the provision of buses that would ply between different girls here at girls’ colleges. Hence, it enables them to access quality education regardless of geographical location within the Punjab region.
