Orban Pakistan, Russia as Future World Powers

Bucharest: Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban has forecasted that Pakistan will be among the future global powers.

Shift in Global Power Dynamics

The Prime Minister said at an event in Romania that the current movement in the world system is starting from Asia, and he believes this change is coming towards Russia. In what would appear to be a complete reversal of fortunes for Western hegemony, Orban argued this means that Asia will become the center of gravity for global power over centuries. He said, “I can see that the system is changing, and it starts in Asia; later on, global power will move from the West to Eastern Europe and eastwards towards Russia.”

Emerging Global Powers

Orbán listed several countries that will become world powers: “China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia.” The leader observed that these shifts have always occurred over long periods: “It took 500 years for the former global system to transform itself into something else—we are now witnessing a similar shift,” he added.

Support Against Russia

Orbá’n noted with interest how many nations have begun aligning themselves against NATO-member states by showing support for Moscow. He mentioned China as one such country but also included North Korea, Iran, and even Turkey, among others, who all have good relations with Russia despite being part of NATO themselves. “Russia has not been isolated! Expectations were different…” said Orba’n.

Changing Perceptions in the Muslim World

The Hungarian PM drew attention to changes within Islamic society, which is traditionally seen as enemy number one by Muslims worldwide due mainly to Western interventionism throughout the Middle East during the past few decades – today, Russians are regarded more favorably than Americans ever since they entered Syria militarily there backing up their ally President Bashar Assad’s regime forces fighting against ISIS forces trying oust him from power which caused large numbers refugees fleeing across Europe including Hungary too whose government was once accused being “Islamophobic” because its anti-immigrant policies.

Criticism of Western Media

He aimed at the Western media for not telling people how weak and fragmented our society is. He said we are looking in the wrong direction when we call Russia the greatest threat to world peace. “The main problem today is that. The West is weak and divided, but you will never hear that from our mainstream press,” Orban argued.

During his speech, Prime Minister Viktor Orban outlined a vision for the future in which the geopolitical landscape has been entirely reshaped. He drew attention to the ascent of several Asian nations. Including but not limited to China, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia, as formidable players on the world stage. He also spoke about how different countries support Russia and other things that Western media tends not to cover accurately. While discussing global dangers. His statement that we need peaceful politics and more innovative policies from Europe reflects this. He believes that international power dynamics are changing at their core.
