A few days back, a catastrophic event took place on Karsaz Road, Karachi, where the negligence and high speed of a lass called Natasha led to a road accident that claimed the lives of a child and her father, leaving five other motorists hurt in the mishap.
A fresh montage of Natasha, spreading on social media these days and belonging to the accused, has gone viral, drawing resentment from myriad people. In the video, Natasha appears to be downright indignant. In this case, it is not the words but the gestures that depict Natasha’s philosophy: “I am not sorry for what I have done.”
This time, a crowd gathers around Natasha, and some Rangers personnel accompany her. In a bold and distasteful manner, Natasha tells one of the people in the clip that this video has left social media deeply divided, with users criticizing the system.
Reckless Driving Incident in Karsaz Leads to Tragic Loss of Life
The said incident occurred in the Karsaz area, just outside the stadium, where Natasha, in her often reckless driving, rammed into a motorcycle that claimed two lives (a father and daughter), then crashed into a car and wrecked it. The police apprehended Natasha shortly after and reported the incident at Bahadurabad Police Station, invoking code sections for wrongful death, dangerous driving, and Diyat (blood money).
Police reports state that after the collisions with the motorcycles, Natasha, in all likelihood, wanted to take off and was accelerating, which made her hit a standing car. Her car was also toppled in the process. After the collision, an agitated mob attempted to besiege Natasha, but police and Rangers whisked her away.
The A38 Aston Expressway random CCTV footage of the incident also showed a silver car moving on the highway road and two people on a motorcycle, presumably a man and his daughter, later following him. After that, a white motor vehicle operated by Natasha struck the motorcycle from behind. After some time, the exact vehicle collided with the silver car in front, leading to reported deaths.
Such a situation highlights the importance of maintaining civility on the roads and the need for every individual, regardless of their status, to respect the law.
