Why Did Anil Kapoor Contact Hina Dilpazeer

Karachi: Pakistan’s talented actress Hina Dilpazeer has once again been in the news recently. She shocked the world when she explained in a recent interview that Anil Kapoor, the Indian actor, contacted her after “Qudussi Sahab Ki Bewa.” Hina Dilpazeer is famous for her severe and comic roles, and she provided information about that dialogue while appearing on a private TV channel.

Hina Dilpazeer, the principal performer who tackled the entertaining role of ‘Momo’ in the comedy film Bulbulay and the enthralling yet soft role in Qudussi Sahab Ki Bewa, asserted that Anil Kapoor was very impressed with her performance. In a telephone call, Kapoor, one of the most prominent stars of Bollywood, praised her for her complex portrayal in quasi Sahab Ki Beware and almost immediately tried to reach her.

Hina shared, “He was lovely with words and appreciated my contribution to the drama. Feeling honored by a great personality like Anil Kapoor was a real privilege.”

A Missed Bollywood Opportunity

When asked about it in the interview, Hina Dilpazeer also revealed that she was offered a Bollywood project. However, the opportunity was lost because of increasing hostilities and political tensions between both countries at that time.

“Pity, the relationship wasn’t suited for the easiest scenarios. The two countries became even more hostile toward each other. That specific project cannot be moved forward like,» Hina explained, mentioning the long-standing controversy of the strained economic relationships between the reported countries and its effect on the Entertainment industry in both countries since Bharatiya cinema and that of Karachi had such strong linkages.

Open to the International Projects

But even though the opportunity was not taken advantage of, Hina is Noda’s looking to consider her future career in international cinema. I am okay with it as long as I can see the script and the role I will play. “If a good script and project come to me, I will happily work on international projects. I am open to working outside Pakistan,” she said.

Dilipazeer’s passion for international projects is a growing trend among Pakistani artists who are mostly venturing into the world. The gifted actress Hina, convinced of her possibilities beyond Pakistani borders, knows she possesses all the abilities to do so.

Concerns Over Treatment in Local Industry

However, when voicing the interviewees’ responses in this case study, Hina Dilpazeer also made negative remarks concerning treating the so-called ‘gifted’ artists in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. In general, she explained the industry’s attitude towards her, that is, being invisible even when she works hard and does help bring positive changes.

“Yeah, I can say that giving praise in this industry that I am worthy of has never happened to date, and it is so upsetting sometimes. There were situations where thanks were assured of where none came. But then, I wish to remain focused on my work, and these issues very seldom appreciate the risk of such distance,” Private Hina had decried.

Disappointment at Award Functions

While speaking on her, Dilpazeer recounted a worse experience during an international award function. She was flown overseas with the expectation of being awarded a prize. Unfortunately, she stood up only to find that the award was presented to someone else at the last minute. “It was discouraging, but now I have come to accept this. I do not pay much attention to the awards but only to the work that has to be done.”

This isn’t the first time Anil Kapoor has expressed admiration for Hina Dilpazeer. A few years back. This famous Bollywood actor praised Pakistani artists and, in particular, mentioned Dilpazeer as a very talented performer. He called her “Art Diva” and said he was impressed by her numerous performances in many Pakistani drama serials.

His comments reflected the appreciation of many Pakistani artists by people on the other side. Regardless of the hostility enemies always have in such conditions to artists due to political problems between the two countries.
