Still, without going into particulars, Bukhari stressed that the tweets were of such a disturbing nature that she had difficulties talking about even their essence.

This case illustrates how much more problematic issues regarding privacy and consent come to the fore. In the modern world, where social networks are gaining popularity, it is relatively common for public persons to be subject to such invasions. In the case of Uzma Bukhari, this is just one of the incidents that demonstrate how a person’s purpose can be violated over the internet.

She argues that Siddique later apologized after admitting that he was in the wrong. This incident exposes the worrying trend of falsifying information and forgery in the legal or political fields and the misapplication of such laws, which call for legal order and arrangement not only on the outside but also on the internet.

All of these cases add to the intensifying battle regarding fake news in Pakistani politics that Bukhari has called attention to.

The slanging match between politicians has sadly developed into one of the political activists in Pakistan, cheapening the political discourse in the process. Stoning is probably the best way to handle such language amongst politicians. Bukhari-Washington and the rest of the world are exceptionally sensitive to decency and public behavior from people associated with politics.
