Two Young Men Drown in Ganges River While Taking Selfies

 

During an attempt to click selfies in the Ganges River in Raebareli, India, three boys aged between 17 and 19 were unsuccessful and lost their lives by drowning. Known for their cultural and spiritual significance besides being hazardous. However much one knows about these facts concerning such places. Young people often find themselves in risky. Situations because they want perfect selfies.

Authorities who arrived at the scene, alerted by a passerby who saw bodies floating, said, “They may not have realized how close the adjacent surroundings appeared behind them while taking pictures with their phone cameras. Since they paid little attention to anything other than their mobile device screens held up high. It’s also possible that boats used for such purposes might lack stability. Leading them to tip over easily, such as capsizing even. without waves hitting against them directly. Where occupants fall into the water alongside it. Novice swimmers like these guys couldn’t battle the strong tide very long before getting exhausted and then drowning. Having failed to reach the other side of the bank of the river.
