The Cabinet Division has started a new interesting project: evaluating the worth of gifts received in Toshakhana. This has highlighted progress in respecting officials’ ethical standards, as the gifts are judged and recorded accurately.
Tender for Appraisal Services Toshakhana Gifts
To establish the worth of the gifts kept in the Toshakhana, the Cabinet Division has placed an advert inviting private appraisers to express their interest. This tendering seeks the services of appropriate professionals who wish to do this by 30 September. The opening and evaluation of the received bids will take place on that day to choose the best appraising firms.
Objectives of the Appraisal Toshakhana Gifts
The first step of these procedures aims to estimate the cycles of gifts saved in the Toshakhana accurately. These gifts range from decorations to watches, carpets, and other precious items.
This allows for accurate reporting, so changes in the nature and composition of assets have been recorded since August 2014.”
