Today, ten crore Pakistanis are living in poverty

Quaid-e-Azam did not free Pakistan for it to be trapped in ignorance. There is a predator-prey system in the country where ordinary Pakistanis are preyed upon by a cruel regime in place. Pakistan, as it now stands, cannot be accepted by us anymore – says Miftah Ismail.

Islamabad: Miftah Ismail disclosed that today, 100 million people from Pakistan live below the poverty line during his speech at the Awami Freedom Party’s formation ceremony. He announced the establishment of an entirely new political party to reform the existing political system. Speaking at the occasion, Secretary of Awami Pakistan Miftah Ismail noted that it seems like the East India Company is governing Pakistan. The middle class is facing a decline, and only the elites benefit from the current setup in Pakistan.

He added that this system prevents us from progressing as a nation. They have doubled taxes for employees in the budget. According to Miftah Ismail, Pakistan has slipped behind due to a faulty system. Once upon a time, Pakistan was South Asia’s most prosperous country, but it still lags behind Bangladesh, India, and Nepal.

He pointed out that our land has a predator-prey system. Hence, we no longer agree with this behavior towards our youth. Quaid-e-Azam did not make Pakistan independent so that we would remain illiterate. Therefore, he says there are hunters and prey animals among us. We do not want to dishearten our children.

In addition, he reiterated his point concerning his earlier statement whereby Quaid-i-Azam did not liberate Pakistan only for us still left in ignorance and starvation. Meanwhile, commoners must also enter politics. Furthermore, budget speaks volumes about what leaders consider essential, yet they can’t secure us. The former finance minister observed that our country was doing worse than South Sudan. There was a time when Pakistan was ahead in Asia, but now we are lagging due to this predatory and cruel system.

He pointed out that the budget has exposed the rulers’ minds. For this reason, we have formed another political party that only works for rich people. We have been in government before; even today, we can be ministers. However, a ministry you cannot work in is of no use. Miftah Ismail stressed that we have agreed that the system should change. Forty-two percent of children suffer from malnutrition due to lack of food, while approximately 100 million Pakistanis live in poverty. Pakistan has slipped behind due to a faulty system.

He reiterated his statement that the heartless predator state treats every Pakistani citizen as a victim in a hunter-prey relationship within society. Thus, this Pakistan will not do because Quaid-e-Azam did not want us to remain ignorant. In particular, it adds that there is also a predator-prey arrangement among us. We don’t want our youth disheartened either. Ordinary people need to go into politics now. It gives me great concern when I see leaders who cannot provide security, yet they can afford some military equipment. Meanwhile, the reason why such a party emerged is because only the elite class benefits from it. Therefore, a ministry where one cannot work is pointless.
