Mumbai: Bollywood director Lawrence D’Souza has recently entertained one interesting insider detail about Salman Khan’s. D’Souza noted that Salman Khan, popularly known as the Dabangg star, was cast in the megahit film Saajan for only INRs. 5000. This is quite baffling, however, considering that Khan is now one of the most highly paid actors within the Bollywood circuit. But then, it wasn’t like that since the beginning, especially in the early part of his career.
Cases Of Early Hard Work and Low Payments
Salman Khan, who has a multi-crore fee for every film he works on, had a very different experience when he started his career. Even recently, he has had to contend with opening offers that were not only rank but rather shrinking in line with his earnings. However, this financial destitution could not last long as the star’s fame increased quickly.
Not so long ago, Lawrence D’Souza argued that Aoijau’s and Luthra’s roles within Khan’s CV deals underwent swift changes in one of the interviewee’s conversations with the director of the movie Saajan. Saajan was a critical movie for the actor, and it was during the making of this movie that his market worth in the industry began to shoot up.
The Creation Of Saajan And The Transformation Of Salman Khan
Seeing the teaser of the initial shots, the director said that when Saajan was initially signed up with Salman Khan, he was just an assistant with no actual film credit to his name. On the surface, it may seem ridiculous to pay so little for a Couple’s lead; however, there were some complications in advance. But, as soon as this took off, even before the film’s shooting began, Salman’s fee had already gone high.
D’Souza recounted, “When I signed Salman Khan’s for Saajan, his fee was made at INR 5000 only. Come the last week when we had to prep ourselves to shoot. The fee had risen to INR 500000.” It should be noted that the director further reported that this increase is not out of the blue but is a direct correlation to the increasing stardom of Salman Khan and the series of successful movies he had made.

However, Salman Khan’s has had very good successive blockbusters with Major Sahab. And so the question of his fees is pretty high. Lawrence D’Souza generally observed that it was not the end of the meeting, for by the second time they met. Salman’s fee had already attained a claim of INR 500000. This could not, however, be bettered. On their third meeting, however, Salaman Khan’s single film fee leaped to an incredible INR 1.1 million.
D’Souza added, ‘It was phenomenal how suddenly Salman’s fee rose. His fee increased from INR 5000 to INR One million one hundred thousand within no time. Indicative of his stardom stagnation.’
The Final Fees for Saajan
The director also revealed the final fees of the leading actors in Saajan. They were following the considerable increase in costs. Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit went home tax-free. Tax-free Roman one million one hundred thousand dollars for their parts in the movie. At the same time, Sanjay Dutt. A prominent actor in Saajan was given a few hundred dollars more, INR one point two million.
Saajan is a 1991 film that was well-received and is one of the classics of the Bollywood film industry. The film starred Salman Khan and extricated Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. Masaya played inessentials in the film’s further progression of their turn as the actors above in the industry. The success of the movie and the growing fan support for Salman Khan turned Saajan into a potentiating factor not only for the actor. But also for Bollywoodforn in general.
But stories like this show us what was once the most critical point in his life. He conquered everything and achieved incredible success.
