Robbery Surge in Lahore Urgent Call for Better Security

Robbery cases in Lahore have recently increased, with criminals targeting various parts of the town. In the past few days alone, residents have lost money worth millions of rupees. Gold jewelry, cell phones, motorcycles, and cars.

Theft Incidents in Key Locations Robbery

Mehmood in Badami Bagh was robbed by bandits who took away his two mobile phones and Rs. 185000 cash from him. Similarly, Khurram from Model Town had his cellphone and cash amounting to Rs. 165000 taken. A resident of Hanjrwal, Sadiq, lost a sum of Rs 150000 and his mobile phone, while Shahzaib from Mazang had to give up R135000 and his mobile phone. In a similar incident, Ghaffar from Sherakot had an equally sad fate when he lost RS120000 and his mobile phone. On the other hand, Liaqat at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate was stripped of Rs95000 with his mobile phone, while Raiwind Sajad lost not only Rs65000 but also other items, including a mobile handset.

Escalating Vehicle Thievery Robbery

On top of this increase in robberies, there has also been an increase in vehicle theft throughout the city. Cars were stolen from the Factory Area and Manga Mandi, while bikes were stolen from the Islampura Kahna Bhati Gate areas. These incidents have made people feel more unsafe within their cities.
