Lahore: Pakistani veteran actress Resham has hit the headlines by blaming famous director Syed Noor for her once flourishing career, which is now in shambles. During a candid chat on a recent podcast, she spoke about her personal life and career struggles while giving insights into various subjects; she also opened up about some extraordinary things that happened to her.
Resham’s Podcast Reveals
During the podcast, Resham talked about different aspects of her life, including things she likes and does not like and the ups and downs of her career. During this chat, she made a shocking revelation: Syed Noor, regarded as one of the most respected figures in the Pakistani film industry, played an important role in destroying her dreams.
Recently, Resham overheard a derogatory remark from Syed Noor. He called Resham an “unlucky actress” who ruined herself by working with low-budget production houses. This comment really angered Resham, and she decided to break her silence.
In Defense of Her Career Decisions
When addressing these attacks directly, Resham acknowledged having done successful and unsuccessful projects throughout her acting journey. Nevertheless, she challenged critics’ opinions concerning single failures, pointing out, “Tell me which actor has never done good or bad films? Every artist faces ups and downs, but no one notices it. People seem to think only Resham has flop movies.”
Moreover, the unpredictable entertainment industry often forces actors to navigate many challenges, such as their chosen roles or the people they work with. However, it had been inevitable for her, but unfairness remained deep down inside.
Syed Noor’s Part in Resham’s Career
Resham did not mince words when it came to blaming Syed Noor, whom she once regarded as his go-to director. She mentioned, “Syed Noor destroyed my career. He was the only director who could understand my nature, but at some point, he stopped giving me work when he fell in love with actress Saima Ji. From then, he began casting her only in his movies.”
According to Resham, the turning point in her career was when Syed Noor chose his personal life over their professional relationship. She firmly believes this favoritism dramatically limited her opportunities and led to a downfall.
Resham’s Love for Imran Khan
However, Resham also spoke about how much she admires Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. When asked which politician she liked most, she said Imran Khan without any doubt because of his humanitarian efforts.
She added that Imran Khan is not just an ordinary politician but an extraordinary human being with a huge heart and deep feelings. His vision for Pakistan is commendable.” In particular, she lauded him for establishing Shaukat Khanum Hospital, arguing that no other leader has done so much for suffering humanity as he did.
The conversation during the podcast hosted by Resham has raised many issues about the difficulties actors face within the film industry and how personal relationships influence their lives as professionals. So when she talks openly about Syed Noor’s role in her career collapse and her admiration for Imran Khan’s philanthropic efforts, it knits together all these stories to give an account of a woman who has gone through challenging moments but still stands tall and grateful to those who brought about a positive change on earth.
