Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hopes for the imminent liberation of Palestine and Kashmir and promises to hold India and Israel accountable one day.
India’s Actions Have Been Condemned
Kashmir Exploitation Day saw Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemning all actions taken by India on 5th August 2019. He claimed that resolutions made by the United Nations (UN) and Security Council continue to highlight how the Kashmiri people suffer. These resolutions serve as a constant reminder that there is an ongoing struggle in Kashmir.
Indian Decisions are Rejected Worldwide
The Prime Minister pointed out that the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have denied India oppressive measures. He emphasized sending a clear message to the international community: “Do not let India remain under any delusion that it can deprive Kashmiris of rights.” “Insha’Allah,” he stated with conviction about the ultimate success of the Kashmiri peoples’ fight for self-determination.
Pakistan’s Position and Diplomacy
Shehbaz Sharif suggested discussions between Pakistan, a nuclear power thanks to Allah’s grace, should happen in the best interest of both nations involved. The warning also emphasized that India must adopt a sensible approach since it can never intimidate Pakistan. “We will pluck out any eye looking at us with malice,” declared this PM. This indicates readiness from the Pakistan side to defend its sovereignty at all costs.
Self Determination Rights
International laws should guide efforts aimed at granting Kashmiris their right to self-determination according to UN resolutions, said the PM. He further mentioned addressing the plight of unarmed Palestinians who deserve freedom and governance over themselves.
Solidarity With Oppressed Communities
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hoped such a message would reach both countries. Asking them not to delay recognition and respect for rights belonging to Kashmiris and Palestinians anymore! According to him, he is always supportive of causes concerning oppressed communities like these two countries. So Their demands global attention and urgent actions.
