Preliminary Report on Karachi Airport Blast Submitted to Court

 

A bomb explosion occurred in the same region where Jinnah International Airport in Karachi is located on 06th October 2017. The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) submitted a Preliminary Report on the investigation into the main culprits, marking the first extra report related to the case facts. The attackers executed this strike near the airport’s outer terminal, smashing the CAA’s guardroom.

Attack by A Banned Organization

Thus, according to the report, an outlawed military group orchestrated the bombing and financed the act. A malicious foreign agency financed the act. A terrorist in the attack managed to ram a car bomb into the bus carrying Chinese citizens on the road.

Impact of the Blast

There was, however, destruction due to the explosion, and many lives were lost as a result. This came after three people, mainly two from China, lost their lives during the suicide blast. The explosion wounded more than 12 people on the spot, including some law enforcement officers who were at the site. The blast also damaged around 15 cars parked within the premises, shattering the area.

Emergency Response

As police officers and Rangers reached the site after the blast, they inspected the location. They were able to locate victims, including police and Rangers personnel who, at that moment, sustained injuries thanks to the pressure of the blast. Specialized medical help was provided, and the injured were taken to several hospitals nearby.

Responsibility Claimed

The attack was immediately claimed by the outlawed outfit, which was responsible for executing the bomb blast. This particular group of terrorists issued an official notice accepting responsibility for the attack and calling it a suicide bombing. Such events have raised fears for the security of foreign nationals in Pakistan, especially the Chinese shrines in Pakistan.

Legal Action and Investigation

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station has reported this case as part of a larger picture of the sad occurrence. According to the report, the case is multicount in that it involves murder, attempted murder, terrorism, and explosive possession, among other things. The Station House Officer (SHO) Airport police assisted with filing the complaint, which opened the investigation.

This attack has caused great concern regarding highly regarded areas, especially those often visited by foreign nationals. But now that the investigation has started, the authorities are trying to find out who the ring is behind this attack and how it can be avoided in the future.
