State leader PM Shehbaz’s Sharif recently spoke at an extraordinary Freedom Day function in Islamabad, where he conveyed an honest evaluation of Pakistan’s 77-year venture. He spoke of the country’s successes and failures and his plans for the future, which included a new five-year economic plan and possible price cuts for electricity.
The Nation’s 77-Year Odyssey: A Mixed Bag PM Shehbaz’sÂ
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif began his speech by recognizing that over the past 77 years, there have been achievements and failures. He lamented that despite so many years passing by, Pakistan has yet to be able to attain what its founders had dreamt about regarding progress and prosperity for all. The Prime Minister stated that although there were many significant milestones, a series of difficulties, including a financial crisis, an increase in the inflation rate, and unemployment, among others, hindered the rapid growth of our Nation.
Independence & Sacrifices PM Shehbaz’sÂ
Mr. Sharif paid tribute to those who sacrificed everything they had for our freedom struggle when he said, “I am grateful to Allah Who gave us independence.” In this context, he also acknowledged the leadership role played by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, under whom we succeeded in getting rid of British colonial rule and thus becoming an independent Islamic welfare state in 1947. Therefore, he thanked God Almighty for bestowing us blessings of liberty while honoring those heroes who laid down their lives for the creation of Pakistan.
Plans For The Future: A Fresh Economic Vision PM Shehbaz’sÂ
Looking forward to the next few years, Mr.Shehbaz announced that he will soon present a comprehensive plan related to sustainable economic growth covering five years of duration, too. According to him, it shall concentrate mainly on stabilizing the economy, reducing inflation and unemployment, which always comes along when such is stabilized, further assuring citizens that there will be some relief from high power tariffs currently experienced nationwide.
Dealing With Economic Decline PM Shehbaz’sÂ
He noted that Pakistan has experienced a gradual decline in its economy over the past seven decades, which has led to hardships among people. The Prime Minister observed that various sectors of our economy are ailing, and we have not been able to achieve sustained growth as a nation.
Challenges & Unity Need
Shehbaz Sharif also talked about Pakistan’s internal and external struggles over time. He mentioned power wrangles within the country’s leadership circles and outside conspiracies against it as some factors that have always impeded development in this Nation. Reflecting on these events, he urged everyone to work together so no one should ever feel left out or alone when trying to overcome difficulties that come along with unity.
Digital Terrorism & Youth Misguidance
A good part of the premier’s speech dwelt on the digital terrorism issue, whereby he said, “Our enemies now use internet platforms for spreading misinformation among youths.” Mr.Shehbaz warned young people against falling into anarchy, chaos, or deceit; hence, they must stay alert at all times even as they embrace technology while protecting themselves from being misled since such individuals form the backbone of future leaders who will steer forward affairs concerning the wellbeing of this land.
