Islamabad: The Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, highlighted the importance of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in advancing the national economy during a significant meeting held under his chairmanship.
The meeting deliberated establishing Inland Revenue Appellate Tribunals and ensuring a transparent procedure for judges’ appointments. He said these tribunals are instrumental in effectively adjudicating tax-related cases and that top-notch legal professionals should be engaged to facilitate the process.

Shehbaz Sharif said he would supervise reforms and productivity within FBR through weekly evaluation meetings.
