PM Praises Chief Ministers for Ashura Security

Islamabad: PM Shahbaz Sharif has commended the Chief Ministers of all four provinces for their diligent efforts in ensuring excellent security arrangements on Youm-e-Ashura.  In a statement, the PM praised the Federal Interior Minister for managing rigid measures of safety during this important event to be observed by Muslims.

The head of state addressed citizens and stressed that it was imperative to promote peace and stability throughout Pakistan, particularly during such a sensitive time as Youm-e-Ashura. He called for comprehensive security strategies capable of protecting public gatherings and securing lives of all people.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said, “As we celebrate Youm-e-Ashura today, we should endeavor to maintain societal peace.” He credited the enforcement agencies, including police, soldiers, and other law enforcement agencies from both federal and provincial authorities, with upholding lawfulness.

“The harmony between our administrative bodies and the security personnel in general deserves praise,” stated the Premier. Being vigilant enough to anticipate any predicted risks is vital in creating a conducive environment that is calm for everyone.
