Pakistan-Iran Alliance to boost cooperation and strengthen the dialogue process. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri met on the sidelines of the extraordinary Istanbul D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers session.
The two leaders discussed various dimensions of bilateral relations and explored additional avenues for cooperation between the neighboring countries. They stressed continued interaction in different fields, including trade, energy, security, and stability. This desire to foster closer ties is based on historical linkages between those of Pakistan. Those living in Iran are both cultural and economic.
Condemnation of Israeli Aggression in Gaza
The situation in Gaza received significant attention during their talks, where both sides strongly condemned ongoing Israeli aggression. Terming it one more heinous crime against humanity coupled with a flagrant violation of international humanitarian laws.
