On the third day of Israel’s military operation in Northern Gaza, The battle of Ghamsan, there were still unremitting air strikes and gunfire. This has left the area devastated and created a grave humanitarian emergency. This action has displaced thousands of Palestinians. Forcing many to leave their homes and shelter in makeshift camps among ruined buildings. The violence has killed at least 69 people and wounded. Hundreds more, tearing communities apart.
The health ministry said that the number killed by Zionist bombings stands at 37,834 to date, with 86,858 injured. This is an indication of how serious and ongoing the situation remains for Gaza’s terrified population. Once vibrant neighbourhoods now lie empty save for ghosts haunting them. Continuous bombing turned thriving communities into deserted areas. Where finding safety or necessities is difficult.
The UN Relief and Works Agency has condemned Israeli actions as unbearable crimes against humanity committed during an assault on Shuja’iyya. They describe it that way, too.
The Israeli military’s third day in northern Gaza has shown that there is a major humanitarian emergency in the area. There are thousands of people without homes and hundreds of injured people, and the number of dead is going up every hour. These things make it very important that other countries help out soon. We should see this as a chance for all nations to unite in their efforts to alleviate the suffering of those living within Gaza while also striving towards an equitable peace between both sides.
