New Social Sector Affairs Division to Improve Efficiency

The Cabinet Committee on Right-Sizing Federal Ministries recommends creating a new department called Social Sector Affairs. This move will harmonize and coalesce various social sector functions under one department to enhance efficiency and coordination.

Several Wings under New Division

The committee suggests establishing different wings for social sectors and social affairs under the new department. These wings will manage various social sector aspects, allowing a more focused approach to federal-level issues.

First Steps and Reorganization of the Ministry of National Health

One of the initial measures recommended is the abolition of the Ministry of National Health. The proposal suggests transforming this ministry into a wing under the Social Sector Affairs Division. This measure will help centralize health-related activities, thus improving cooperation between different health initiatives at national and international levels.

Coordinating between International and Provincial Health Matters
