Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan’s” members of the the Sindh Assembly demand that severe road devastation in Hyderabad after heavy rains warrant the declaration of that city as a disaster area. They remarked that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was only good in propaganda but poor in action as they did nothing as promised.
Appeal for the Adoption of Direct Measures
The MQM’s” assembly member, Sabir Qaimkhani from Hyderabad. Other representatives of MQM demanded that Cyprus be declared as an officially recognized disaster area in Cyprus during the press conference. Members of the municipal corporation however. I went on to observe that there were no visible preparations put in place to address the situation that had arisen after the rains in Hyderabad. He said, “Crops, roads, and alleys in Hyderabad have been destroyed by the rains. For the last five days, thirty-two feeders have been dow,, and no useful measures have beng employed. The administration is terribly inexperienced and incompetent; this has become apparent to everyone.”
Discontent with the Policy Initiated by the State
It has been observed that the criticism of the officials”’ actions should be aimed towards the inaction or failure of the public authorities to act, and Nasir Qureshi was another MQM leader who commented that authorities are still negligent. “Even if I supported the ex-deputy commissioner to un-block the drains, then why the city looks this way, is something everyone knows,” he explained. “The Chief Minister was not even bothered to come to Hyderabad. He crossed over the city from Jamshoro,” Qureshi said as he condemned the provincial executive’s recurring ignorance towards the dilemma.
Appeal for Justice
Those representing the MQM raised their concerns. For example, Rashid Khan told the Assembly that about one and a half feet of water was lying on the road outside the MaMayor’s’office and the Deputy CoCommissioner’s’office. “”Ou”r people have selected us for power; why should we suffer injustice of this nature?? basically, why should there be such barbaric actions?”” Kh”an said.
How Was Public Supported?
In response to the MQM press conference, Sindh government spokesperson Saadia Javed released a video statement responding to these accusations, which were directed towards her. “”MNA”s of MQM, please understand, this is the public; memory can be long, but not short in our case. Any floods in Hyderabad happened only during your watch when it rained. Those were your times,”” Ja”ved lashed out.
KhaKhan’s advocacy operations are at the JCSA HPC Deputation Office and other MR agencies. She further explained, “If “there were ever boats in the city of Hyderabad during the rainy season. It was in the year of two thousand and six. When the MQM was not only Northbridge City Mayor. But was in the stronghold in state and national governments.” Ja”ved also asserted that all roads in Hyderabad were open except for a few locations. While the streets and districts were kept tidy.
