Maulana Fazlur Rehman Criticizes Foreign Powers

 

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) emphasized that both legitimate. And illegitimate rulers must understand that it is only the people of Pakistan who have a right to their resources.

Foreign Powers’ Criticism Maulana Fazlur Rehman 

Not sparing words, Maulana Fazlur Rehman slammed foreign powers including the United States for being involved in global conflicts. The US according to him has been the brain behind terrorism as he put it “The United States is the architect of terrorism. It has instigated wars across the world.” He said this while insisting that his country would not sell itself out to external forces when he shouted. “Even if someone’s father comes along we will never let them take over our own children’s rights.”

He took a strong stand on defending Pakistan’s valuable resources by alerting all concerned individuals not to interfere with Pakistan’s wealth. “We want peace, but there should be an understanding of poor man’s fight,” he stated. Besides, he raised anxiety about plans by global powers to weaken Pakistan’s religious identity by saying they are going to wipe away its religious and cultural heritage.

Pakistani Soil: A Global Economic Battlefield

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also highlighted economic pressures from world players against Pakistan. Those global powerhouses have waged economic war on Pakistani soil claiming that they are fighting for their interests. “These global powers want to fight an economic war on Pakistan’s land,” he noted, wondering whose agenda was behind wrecking China’s investments in the country.

Allies’ Lack of Trust

Talking about current diplomatic relations with different countries. Maulana Fazlur Rehman mentioned that allies such as Saudi Arabia. And China were cautious in trusting the Pakistani government. Today we can see China and Saudi Arabia don’t trust us anymore thereby deepening a crisis of confidence with these countries that have always been there for us,” he said.

The JUI chief’s statements reflect a growing frustration with both domestic leadership and international interference in Pakistan’s affairs. His call for the protection of national resources. And the safeguarding of religious identity resonates with a broader sense of national sovereignty and independence.
