Iran: The Iranian Election Commission has announced the presidential election winner as Massoud Pezeshkian.
Reformist candidate Massoud Pezeshkian triumphed over his hardline rival Saeed Jalili in Iran’s Iran’s round of presidential elections by a mile.
The Iranian Election Headquarters released the results of the second round of voting, stating that 30 million people voted, and 16.3 million of them voted for Dr.Massoud Pezeshkian.
Saeed Jalili received more than 13.5 million votes in the election, with a turnout of 49%. However, he lost to Massoud Pezeshkian by approximately 2.8 million votes.
Massoud Pezeshkian won with a landslide margin of 2.8 million votes against Saeed Jalili.
Yesterday, Iran’s new president was elected from eight o’clock to midnight. Due to crowds at polling stations, the administration extended polling time three times.

Who is Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian, Iran’s Iran’selected President?
He is an outstanding politician who will tackle issues both foreign and domestic. He does not sympathize with any group within or outside the country except reformists and conservatives. According to some sources, he was born seventy years ago in the Mahabad area of Iran.
Massoud completed his early education in Urmia before studying medicine at Tabriz University, which was still known as such before the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Massoud Pezeshkian promised during the elections that he would improve relations with the West and resume nuclear talks aimed at lifting global sanctions against Iran, which are negatively affecting its economy.
