The talks included potential areas of partnership, such as the Nawaz Sharif Smart City project, among others. Also, different investment options within the digital economy were explored so that they could identify economic growth and technological advancement opportunities. Maryam Nawaz said she wants modern technologies used in governance, public service delivery systems, and economic development, stating that “our vision is to make Punjab a digital technology hub.”
Huawei Supports and Commits
Yao Shaoyong expressed his confidence in the full support of Huawei Corporation on all technical projects initiated in connection with this agreement. Adding these initiatives should contribute significantly towards realizing regional digital growth targets set out by Government Authorities. Maryam reiterated the government’s resolve to create an enabling environment for innovative technology investments.
