Maryam Nawaz: Punjab Leads in Rescue Services

 

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, stressed the importance of everyone’s life, indicating that an air ambulance will transport patients quickly from distant regions to big hospitals with necessary emergency care. This initiative aims to promote public welfare and prompt medical assistance.

Maryam Nawaz: Meeting for Secretary of Emergency Services

Yesterday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with Secretary of Emergency Services Dr. Rizwan Naseer. They discussed the air ambulance project, launching Motorway Rescue 1122 services, and procuring new aircraft for the air ambulance. The CM can use the helicopter in cases where emergency moving is required in central Punjab. The doctor thanked these humble people for using her copter in this imperative work.

Why the Air Ambulance Project is Important

The CM appreciated the progress made regarding the air ambulance project and directed the immediate commencement of motorway rescue services. She pointed out that being the first province to launch an air ambulance service was a great achievement for Punjab. During the ‘golden hour’—the critical time frame for treating heart attacks, head injuries, and spinal cord injuries—transferring patients becomes highly problematic. Ensuring that Rescue 1122 ambulances are stationed at motorway interchanges guarantees a swift response to accidents. No province has ever launched an air ambulance service on its highways; therefore, Punjab will set a precedent for others throughout South Asia.

Improving Rescue Services

According to CM’s speech, ambulance employment at motorway interchanges ensures immediate response to accidents. This step has been taken so that Punjab remains ahead of all other provinces regarding good rescue services. “R” Scue services in Punjab have become a role model not only in Pakistan but across South Asia,” “he added.” “I want people in such areas like motorways to have quick access to emergency medical care, and thus, for this reason, I decided to have such units in place of the motorway response. ”
“Dealing with Flooding in Rojhan Area

Besides the air ambulance project, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also discussed the recent flooding in Rojhan. She wanted a detailed report on the flash floods that struck houses due to hill torrents and immediate rescue and relief operations for the affected families. The victims and their animals should be ensured as directed by the CM. On her side, she insisted that swift action and solidarity with people suffering from natural calamities should be observed. Highlighting government public safety and welfare.
