The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has officially Launched Punjab Home, your roof’s “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” project. The project will go a long way toward addressing the housing needs of both rural and urban Punjab residents.

Government financial support will be provided for individuals owning land plots of 1-5 Marla in urban areas. The Punjab government shall grant 1.5 million rupees, which can be repaid through monthly installments amounting to up to 14,000 per month for seven years. This financial assistance aims to make homeownership more achievable for people who do not have enough resources to build houses independently.

However, Maryam Nawaz identified different ways low-income people get relief due to their economically disadvantaged plight. As a result, we plan as an administration to reduce electricity bills by up to Rs 45-50 billion so that households can increase their disposable incomes by such action.
