Last Images of Missing Mom Jermain Charlo May Solve Case

Jermain Charlo is a 23-year-old mother of two who disappeared on June 15, 2018, from Missoula, Montana. Jermain is known to have a vibrant imagination and is fond of the wild; this meant that she could already juggle motherhood with plans to become a firefighter. Sadly, she never got to attend the interview she was learning for, and that gap of her continuous absence puzzlement her family.

The Last Known Sighting

The last time Jermain could be located was in grainy video footage from Meeting Point – Missoula using the ‘daddy crowd’ lens to capture imagery of her once healthy complexion. It was the bar called The Badlander where she was filmed in reminiscent tape footage. At this moment, she was with a man she later recognized as Michael DeFrance, the father of her two kids and her ex-partner. They were recorded leaving together a few hours later. DeFrance claimed he left her on the street beside a convenience store. However, no further contact was established with her again.

The Search for Jermain

As Jermain’s community and family began to try to search for her, they fared no better than the authorities. It was the hands of Detective Guy Baker, who was professional in solving the case. Though he has done much, every helpful indication seems to slip away. The aspect of sex involved commerce was looked into but was not ascertained. With the support from her niece–in–law Valenda Morigeau, Jermain’s relatives are still determined to bring her back home.

Law Enforcement and Suspicions

DeFrance told police that he had left Jermain near the Orange Street Food Farm at approximately 1 am. Jermain had, therefore, made a phone call to another man called Jacob a few hours before her disappearance, and that man was Jacob, who tried calling her the same night. It was pretty strange that none of those numbers were disturbed as her phone had been silenced; this disturbed Jacob. So Jurisdictional authorities do take Jacob out of the Scenarios containing strategy with the involvement of Melissa, but DeFrance is the only one under his glass a cup as they base the investigation on the hours of the last person who made contact with her.

Jermain’s Legacy

The case of Jermain indicates the seriousness of the issue of missing Covid native women in Montana. Even though people of Indian origin constitute a mere 6 per cent of the state’s population. As much as 24 per cent of the active cases of missing persons are natives. Her family, in collaboration with law enforcement, is still on the hunt for the reasons, and they pray that someday she will return home to her children.
