Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq summoned DIG Operations Rawalpindi regarding a Bushra Bibi case. The request was to provide details of the cases against her. And prevent her arrest, directing her to the relevant court. Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Sardar Latif Khosa. She argued that she had been implicated in cases related to the events of May 9. Chief Justice Farooq pointed out that more than a year had passed since May 9. He noted that the Lahore High Court ruled a person arrested in one case would be considered arrested in all cases.
Discussion on May 9 FIRs
Chief Justice Farooq inquired about the FIRs related to May 9. And Latif Khosa confirmed that all eleven FIRs pertained to that date. The Chief Justice decided to summon the DIG Operations Rawalpindi to inquire about the status of the May 9 cases. The court adjourned the hearing to August 7, directing the DIG to appear and provide the necessary information.
