Gaza: Israel’s has begun its third operation in Khan Younis, an area of the occupied Palestinian territory. In a single day, 84 Palestinians have been killed and 329 injured during this series of attacks.
Media abroad claim
Media abroad claim that the Zionist army destroyed residential buildings as well as tents belonging to homeless locals situated on the east side of Khan Younis. This relentless attack caused the death of 84 unarmed people who were Palestinian citizens and injured 329 others with different levels of seriousness. These continuous assaults devastated whole communities and terrified them even more than they already were living through an occupation that had brought great hardship upon them.
Local media reports indicate that over thirty individuals might still be trapped under the rubble left by destroyed houses. While rescue efforts are ongoing, it has become challenging for them to reach those. Who is buried beneath debris because there is ongoing bombing, which does not give any space for such operations? Whole families have been separated forever; communities have been shattered entirely apart from each other. With these current bombings alone, the total number of martyred Palestinians has amounted to an astounding figure of 39,090, while another lot totaling up to 90,147 souls received various injuries since the beginning of this conflict.
Palestinians in displacement camps
Israel’s forces have again ordered millions more Palestinians into displacement camps without ensuring their safety or well-being first. This is putting many lives at risk yet again; this time around, though, situational shortages within the Gaza Strip will worsen due to large numbers being displaced simultaneously, which may further push it towards becoming a humanitarian crisis zone. At present, Israeli control extends over eighty percent (80%) of landmasses within Gaza, thus virtually blockading millions inside with minimal supplies like foodstuffs and clean drinking water, among other essentials needed for daily survival. Becoming scarce day after another as medical kits run out too fast, leaving only the death options available.
Other parts of Gaza continue being attacked as well – A convoy belonging to the United Nations relief agency came under fire from Israel’s while en route delivering much-needed help. Things got worse when an international organization tried offering aid only to see itself becoming another victim targeted. By violence in such a volatile area like Gaza City, where there are no safe zones for anybody, including peacekeepers. Similarly, two Israeli hostages lost their lives during the latest hostilities, but this time around. It happened within the Gaza Strip. Israeli military confirmed these deaths. This has added to the already high number of people suffering from conflict between both sides. Thus showing that any loss, regardless of whether Palestinian or Israeli, underscores the need for ending the standing war.
Gaza is still
Gaza is still very much in its worst phase since nothing suggests that calmness will return anytime soon. Human rights groups warn against ignoring what they call “collective punishment. Which has been blamed on the international community’s apathy towards the plight suffered by ordinary civilians. Mainly women and children, living under constant fear. At the same time, world powers remain silent over the Israel-Palestine crisis.
