According to Hamas, this is one of such provocative actions that make it clear who are extremists within Israeli troops – they condemned it outrightly. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have destroyed six hundred nine (609) mosques in Gaza, with two hundred eleven (211) experiencing some dilapidation. Other than the mosque structures, three churches have also been razed to the ground by Israeli troops.

As a result of continuous Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, more than forty thousand thirty hundred (40,300) Palestinians have perished, primarily women and children. Over ninety-three thousand (93,000) people were left wounded. Israel’s severe blockade has resulted in acute shortages of foodstuffs, clean water, and medical supplies in Gaza, thus worsening the suffering of people living there under siege.
