The iPhone 16 Pro is now manufactured with a less complicated. And, thus, more compact motherboard than the preceding iPhone 15 Pro. Benefits from this new battery structure are expected, but repairs may be more difficult because of the tighter boundaries of the construction.
Usual Camera Body of Increasing Size iPhone 16 ProÂ
The iPhone features a comparatively larger camera body as compared to the iPhone 15 Pro because a 12 MP periscope telephoto camera has been introduced. This feature improves video zooming, which is the specialty of a new phone compared to the older one.

One of the remarkable improvements is the massive battery. The iPhone 16 Pro embeds a 3582 mAh battery, representing an increase of 9.4% over the capacity of 3274 mAh of the iPhone 15 Pro. The battery comes with a steel casing that is beneficial in heat management, a feature that is new on this device as compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.
Furthermore, Apple claimed that the phone’s inner skeleton structure, which contains aluminum and graphite, also improves the thermal performance by fivefold.
Improvements in Repairability
Even though the design has become more compact, some of the features of the iPhone 16 Pro have been purposely designed to enhance the repairability of the device. The mounting of the charging port flex cable onto the microphone has been changed, which facilitates repairs around this area. However, not every aspect has been designed in line with this trend, for example. The Camera Control button is cemented with a laser. And cannot be removed which might make repairs difficult.
