Interior Minister’s Directive on Chinese Citizens’ Security Plan

 

Federal Interior Minister Mohsen Naqvi emphasized that there is no tolerance for any lapses in the security plans devised for foreigners. Speaking under his leadership, a crucial meeting convened to assess the government’s initiatives to safeguard foreigners, mainly Chinese nationals. The meeting stressed the importance of systematic monitoring at all levels of their security arrangements.

In addition to reviewing security measures for foreigners, the gathering delved into the country’s overall security landscape. Minister Naqvi directed strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlined in the security plans concerning foreigners. He underscored the need for continuous and rigorous monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of these plans. The Minister urged relevant authorities to maintain constant communication. And coordination with pertinent institutions to preempt and neutralize any threats posed by hostile elements.

During the session, the Interior Ministry and other concerned agencies provided Minister Naqvi with detailed briefings on the implementation status of security plans and the national security environment. Federal Secretary of Interior Khurram Ali Agha, NIKA Director General Muhammad Tahir Rai, and senior officials from various institutions and the Interior Ministry were also in attendance, demonstrating a unified approach to enhancing security measures.

Minister Naqvi’s firm stance on security underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring. The safety and protection of all foreigners residing in Pakistan.
