Hodgkinson & Kerr Gear Up for Olympic Gold in Paris

 

Keely Hodgkinson Dominates 800m Semi-Final

Hodgkinson & Kerr Gear Up: Team GB athlete Keely Hodgkinson has persisted in showing superb form in the ladies’ 800m semi-final. The semi-finals saw Matthew Hudson-Smith – European record holder – dominate his heat against Belgian Alexander Doom, where he scored an impressive record of 44 seconds and seventy-eight milliseconds on Tuesday evening, followed closely by British debutant Charlie Dobson, who only managed slightly slower speeds around that same distance over one minute later but still advanced comfortably enough into Tuesday’s semis themselves having edged out Danger from Belgium himself (44s96).

Phoebe Gill has been eliminated from further competition after facing disappointments along her way to glory.
