Harris Prioritizes Beating Trump for Black Voters

.
On Saturday, Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized how dangerous a second Trump administration would be instead of the growing concerns about Joe Biden’s candidacy as she sought to persuade black voters to once again give them victory.

This is probably the most significant election of our lifetime, Harris said during a moderated conversation at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, saying that if elected for a second term, former President Donald Trump “expressed openly his intention to serve as a dictator on Day 1.

Joe Biden received the 2020 presidency with the guidance of some critical sections of his coalition, so his campaign is now looking to entice one phase of this demographic via participation in this yearly joyful celebration that functions celebrities and musicians from throughout the globe.

Exit polls showed that in 2020, Biden beat Trump by 87% to 12% among black voters. However, Trump has made some progress within this influential block. In May, a New York Times/Siena College survey conducted across swing states found that he won over 20% of black votes in a two-way match-up with Biden. These findings could translate into record-breaking proportions if they were reflected in voting patterns in November.

The vice president wanted festival goers to know we can see it through if they voted like never before.

“People voted like never before in numbers, but when you vote like that again in literally122 days, we will see it through.” –Harris.

There is concern over the president’s mental fitness and whether his campaign can survive after his terrible performance during last week’s presidential debate. There are fears emanating from the White House. Democrats have suggested re-evaluating how hard he should run for re-election, while some have even called on him to resign. But Biden has been unyielding: “I’m completely ruling out anything other than running for President until. I win or lose,” he told reporters in Madison, WI, on Friday.

In a recent poll, Harris emerged as the frontrunner to succeed Biden if he were to step down ahead of the 2024 election. Another survey showed that some Republicans hope Trump can avoid facing her instead of Joe. Harris has continued to defend Biden and reportedly said that earlier this week. Neither she nor any team member had been answering most phone calls or messages since last month’s round table debate, emphasizing that she was standing by him.

During Saturday’s questioning period, the vice president avoided discussing concerns within her party concerning Biden’s aspirations for re-election. At the same time, other attendees at the event countered these fears by rallying in support of him and urging voters not to be fooled. We don’t think he should drop out after just one debate, Beatty contended.

We all face tough times,” noted the Ohio Democrat, later saying, “Go into your rooms, but don’t turn your backs on this president.

California Rep. Maxine Waters stressed, “Biden’s not going anywhere.”

Waters asked if she would support Harris if President Biden were to drop out because. She, also from California, replied. We’re focused on Biden, and he has not only done an excellent job but also anticipates that he will continue.

Many festival-goers interviewed believe that Harris can take over should Biden decide to quit the race. Ultimately, voters said they would cast their ballot for whoever the Democratic nominee is in November.

“Keep up with these tickets as they are. …She will have her time…We know what we want! There was a plan before…it worked…Let it be like this again”, she said.

Peris called Biden’s poor performance during the debate a one-time thing before stating, “Everybody gets sick. He’s a good president. He’s done great things. Everyone has an off day.”

Laura Morgan Roberts of Washington, DC, said it was hard for her not to vote for Joe Biden in November. However, this unreservedly does not mean Vice President Kamala Harris has my back since. I completely trust his intentions and determination towards America and its citizens.”

Meanwhile, Michelle Buxton from Chattanooga, Tennessee, told us. It seems like they aren’t giving a chance.

“We are all here working together, and when I think about it personally. Buxton commented.“I don’t think that they should bring him down.”
