Hafiz Naeem: No Blockage If Agreement Fails

 

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman emphasized the party’s capability to negotiate and enforce agreements. He asserted that if they do not meet the terms of the agreement, tanks or containers will not obstruct their progress. He criticized the chaos that would have ensued if they had chosen unrest instead of negotiation, which led to the agreement.

Public Rally Against Rising Electricity Costs and Heavy Taxes

Addressing a public rally on Mall Road, Lahore, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman voiced strong opposition to the escalating electricity costs and heavy taxes. He vowed to liberate Pakistan on its 78th Independence Day completely and promised to implement an equitable Islamic system in the country.

Concerns Over Balochistan and International Interference

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also expressed concern over the difficulties faced by the people of Balochistan and accused the United States of engaging in sabotage activities there. He condemned the unacceptable practice of law enforcement agencies making individuals disappear and advocated for discussions with Afghanistan in a constructive environment. He urged Afghan rulers to avoid antagonizing the entire nation.

Commitment to Ongoing Activism and Future Actions

If the agreements are not implemented, they plan to negotiate with industrialists to organize a nationwide wheel jam strike. He warned that if discussions on interest rates with the government do not yield results within 42 days. Convoys from Pakistan will head to Islamabad.

Liaquat Baloch on Social Media and Electricity Prices

Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch addressed claims circulating on social media that the party returned after facilitating higher electricity prices. They clarified that the agreement was finalized late at night, while electricity rates had already risen by morning. He pledged to follow up on the deal with the government. Warning that failure to meet the deal would lead to a sit-in protest. He criticized the unbearable electricity prices and confirmed that rallies will continue.

Arshad Nadeem’s Achievement and National Progress

Liaquat Baloch also praised Arshad Nadeem’s achievements as evidence of the nation’s potential. He advocated for promoting sports to drive progress in various fields. Declared that the rally would challenge skeptics who doubted the effectiveness of their Islamabad sit-in, asserting that people’s power can dismantle oppressive systems.

He warned of civil disobedience and nationwide strikes if the government fails to adhere to agreed-upon timelines. Javed Qasuri and Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Central highlighted the worsening political. Economic crises and criticized the government’s lack of a solid plan to address these issues. He stressed that ongoing inflation and exorbitant electricity bills could lead to national chaos.
