Mumbai: Noted Bollywood film actor Govind Arun Ahuja, or Govinda as most people know him, has pleaded with the Indian media after being discharged from the hospital. It is reported that the actor got himself admitted after sustaining a gunshot injury at an accident in his house.
The Incident: How It Happened
As per the reports in Indian media, the incident occurred on October 1, 2011, at about 5 PM. Govinda accidentally discharged his revolver, injuring himself in the process. The actor was at home when the episode occurred. It is reported that the gun fell off his hand when he was trying to put it in a cupboard, and it went off. The bullet penetrated through the flesh of the lower side of his right leg and lodged deep into the right thigh.
After such an incident, Govinda was taken to a private hospital in metropolitan he was then said to have suffered injuries, which were treated by the presence of doctors within economical hours after the incident.
