Election Commission Affirms 39 PTI Members

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued notifications recognizing 39 members of the National Assembly as members of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf). This critical development follows the ApCourt’s decision on reserved seats, which the Election Commission implemented immediately.

Implementation of Supreme Court Decision

The Election Commission has started implementing the Court’s decision regarding reserved seats. On its website, the Election Commission posted notifications for 39 MNAs whose nomination papers contained a certificate for affiliation with PTI. This is viewed as a significant step towards ensuring the accuracy and timely implementation of the CCourt’sdCourt’sns.

Details of the Notifications

On July 12, in line with the orders made by the Supreme Court, 39 notifications were issued to PTI members. This followed an extensive examination and subsequent conference chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, who decided that notifications for 39 PTIs must be uploaded on its website according to the court’s courts.

Successful PTI Candidates

The notification also contains a comprehensive list of successful PTI candidates. Mahboob Shah, Junaid Akbar, Ali Khan Jadoon, Asad Qaiser, Shahram Khan, Mujahid Ali Anwar Taj Fazal, Mahmood Khan Arbab Amir Ayub have won elections as PTIs in their respective constituencies.

For instance, Shandana Gulzar, Sher Ali Arbab Asif Khan, Syed Shah Ahad Ali Shah Shahid Khan, Naseem Ali Shah, Sher Afzal Marwat, Osama Ahmed, Shafqat Abbas Ali Afzal, Sahi Rai, Haider Ali Khan Nisar Ahmed, and others were also declared winners from their respective constituencies while running under the banner of PTI.

Furthermore, Rana Atif Changez Ahmed Khan Muhammad Ali Sarfaraz Khurram Shehzad Virk Latif Khosa Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan Aamir Dogar Zain Qureshi Rana Muhammad Faraz Noon Mumtaz Mustafa Shabbir Ali Qureshi Anbar Majeed Owais Haider and Zartaj Gul are successful PTI candidates according to the Election Commission notification. Background of the Supreme Court Ruling

It is pertinent to mention that on 12th July, while announcing the reserved judgment on the unni Council’s Petitionrved seats, the Supreme Court nullified all orders of the Ethe election Commission and Peshawar High Court.
