Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa | May-June Optimism

 

After attending a meeting of the Capital Investment Facilitation Council, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur expressed hope for May and June, predicting that good decisions would come in those months. He said they would not compromise on its due share while representing the province’s rights. The politician urged the federal government to release funds for the province.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlighted the need for resource optimization, especially the creation of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) as a catalyst for investment. He said the mining sector could be reformed strategically to boost revenue generation, too. Referring to budgetary proposals presented earlier this year by his department. He objected to the imposition of taxes in tribal districts, saying it would not be well received; they may see it as unfair if these obligations are not met. He asked authorities concerned at the center to let loose the development money allocated so far, again promising his total dedication towards eradicating suffering among people living within the KPK region.
