According to Dawn News, Dr Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, gifted this precious pen to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa during their meeting on 8th April. The pen is named ‘Kaaba Door’ because it symbolizes great cultural and religious significance. Which makes it an even more valuable present.

Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa expressed a desire for the pen to be placed in the Supreme Court Museum. His Secretary communicated this intention through a letter to the Secretary of the Cabinet Division, highlighting the Chief Justice’s wish to have the gift.

Approval from the Prime Minister

Following the Chief Justice’s request. The Secretary of the Cabinet sought approval from the Prime Minister to place the pen in the Supreme Court Museum. This step was necessary to ensure that officials handled the gift according to official protocols and could display it appropriately.

Final Decision

In an official statement, the highest court of law declared that the Prime Minister had given his consent.

Subsequently, officials kept the pen in Toshakhana, a governmental depository designated for presents received by dignitaries in their official capacity.
