Notice Issuance Bilawal

Bilawal took this step after a press conference conducted by the provincial president and general secretary. They announced the suspension of party membership for Provincial Information Secretary Sardar Sarbuland Jogezai and others. In reply, the central secretary-general released an official notification for Changiz Jamali and Rozi Khan Kakar. Stating that only the Chairman, PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, can expel anyone from the party.

Violation of Constitution Allegations Bilawal

According to the notification, both the President PPP Balochistan. And the General Secretary violated the party constitution as they didn’t take into account these aspects while making their decision. This unilateral act of suspending memberships without consulting with central leadership is considered a protocol breach. And an authority abuse; therefore, an explanation should be submitted within ten days.

Press Conference Controversy

The controversy arose when Changiz Jamali and Rozi Khan Kakar held a press conference. They suspended some members, including Provincial Information Secretary Sardar Sarbuland Jogezai, without approval from the higher command. This prompted immediate disciplinary action by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for maintaining discipline within the organization according to its constitutional processes.

Response by Central Leadership

In his notification, the Central Secretary-General reminded that all decisions about suspensions or terminations are made only by the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee (CEC). However, this move was taken to ensure compliance with the party constitution and establish uniformity among such actions throughout history, from its foundation until now. By doing so, these show cause notices serve as a reminder from a top-down approach, where leaders at various levels must follow established guidelines and the hierarchy of the decision-making process within P. P. P.

Required Reply from Provincial Leaders

The show-cause notices demanded an explanation within ten days from Changiz Jamali and Rozi Khan Kakar about their actions, which justified suspending members without prior approval from the Chairman of PPP Central. This allows them to present the case before possible reconciliation with central leadership during this period.
