Barrister Gauhar Calls for Prompt Release of PTI Founder

 

Barrister Gauhar, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), emphasized that delayed justice is tantamount to injustice. He called on the judges to ensure the prompt release of the PTI founder. Highlighting the Lahore High Court’s significant role in upholding the rule of law. And strengthening the parliament, Barrister Gauhar stressed the need for timely justice.

Advocating Rule of Law

Barrister Gauhar clarified that PTI’s struggle is solely for the rule of law and not against any individual. He criticized authorities for repeatedly arresting women associated with PTI, stating that. They detain them on various charges arbitrarily. Support from Legal Fraternity

Senior advocate Sardar Latif Khosa asserted that the nation will adhere only to the constitution, labeling the Supreme Court’s decision to seize power as one of its worst. Khosa predicted that PTI’s founder, Bushra Bibi, would soon be freed, reinforcing that the Constitution would prevail. Launching a New Movement

President of the Insaf Lawyers Forum, Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan, declared the beginning of a historic movement. Recalling the Lahore High Court Bar’s past campaign against a military dictator.
